Matthijs is een familiebedrijf opgericht in 1920. Het productiebedrijf is na inmiddels 105 jaar uitgegroeid tot een grote snoepfabrikant met een zeer gevarieerd assortiment in zoetwaren. Dankzij de ervaring van generatie op generatie kent Matthijs de markt als geen ander. De originele recepten van vroeger spelen nog altijd een grote rol en daar zijn we bij Matthijs trots op!

Echte Mannekes: new flavor in the family!
Our Mannekes from the Echte Mannekes family have been in the candy world for about 2 years now. This family consisted of 5 varieties all with their own taste, but recently a 6th variety has been added: the NOSTALGISCHE MANNEKE!
An old recipe in a new jacket! For years we have been running this recipe, but this one has now been added to the family after the necessary improvements. A sweet licorice with the nostalgic licorice flavor! And also this one is veggie again.
Matthijs 105 years of existence!
Hooray! on January 14, 2025, we celebrated our 105th anniversary in the company. What started 105 years ago with cooking in a shed in the backyard, has now rolled out to a real factory in Hoogerheide!
